Nissan is in the middle of a huge performance project, and the Japanese auto brand needs your help! If you know anything about the Nissan 370Z, or the Nissan Z line in general, you know it's all about extreme power and style. Now, the brand has decided to make its most powerful 370Z model ever, and it's enlisting your help with "Project 370Z." The project is taking place now, and you can contribute and join in on the fun and watch the project unfold here (www.facebook.com/nissanperformance).
John Brancheau, Vice President for Nissan Marketing explains the decision behind the collaborative process, stating, "Car companies build project vehicles all the time, but we thought it'd be interesting to harness the power of social media to reach out to Z enthusiasts - the people who are doing this to their own cars every day. Together we'll create a vehicle that expands on the already outstanding performance and style of the Nissan 370Z with a balance of street and track ready modifications. Then we'll share the finished project at upcoming Z car enthusiast gatherings around the country."1 Enthusiasts can contribute all sorts of input, including power, interior, exterior, handling/brakes ideas. The final new 370Z product will be reveal in late May 2012 at the annual "ZDayZ" event, where Nissan Z fans gather in the Great Smoky Mountains of TN and NC.
