You may know that Nissan is extremely dedicated to "greening" our world through supporting environmental initiatives. Take the all-electric 2012 Nissan LEAF as an example of this dedication. So, it should come as no surprise that the auto brand is a co-sponsor of the award-winning Radioshack Nissan Trek cycling team. Every day, millions of people around the world cycle for exercise, health, and traveling purposes; in fact, more people cycle than drive vehicles. It's an extremely easy way to lower your carbon footprint, and it's good for you, too.

The RadioShack Nissan Trek cycling team trains nine months out of the year and participates in races all over the world. Just last year, they won three huge victories in the U.S. alone, and this year has continued that trend. The team's biggest upcoming event is the Tour de France, which takes place this summer. One of the coolest parts of this racing team is its tag-along new Nissan vehicles, which follow the team and store additional vehicles and supplies. The team includes several world-class athletes, including Swiss cyclist Fabian Cancellara, Andy and Grank Schleck, and Tour of California winner American Chris Horner. The Tour de France should see some fierce competition from this team!
